Personal Training

Our gym based personal training is designed to ensure the maximum stimulation in the shortest time period. This involves a combination of functional free weight exercises combined together to achieve a fast paced, anaerobic workout that burns fat and builds muscle effectively. But don't panic. Most people worry at the words "building muscle" with the impression that using weights will make them big and bulky, but this is just not true! The facts are that the more muscle you have on your body the more fat you will burn and the more structure and shape you will have to your body. This muscle is made up of lean tissue so you will not get big! This style of weight training, incorporated with the faster overall anaerobic session, will increase your metabolic rate and have your body burning fat for up to 12 hours after you leave!

So, using our short, intensive training systems combined with our nutritional plan (see weight management and nutrition) you will start to notice your body changing in as little as 4 weeks.

Weight Management and Nutrition

It is hard to know what is meant by "nutrition" these days with all the confusion from the media, magazines and all the so called "diets" that are around. So we use the best there is in terms of nutrition and eating; keep it clean, natural and simple! All our eating plans differ in ratios dependant on the clients need, but the foods used and recommended include a healthy balance of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. Working on the basis of 1gram of protein to every pound of lean muscle to ensure the body is fed the correct nutrients whilst maintaining a steady weight loss.

As specialists in weight management we aim to ensure that our nutritional plan completely compliments our training systems so you achieve the best results possible with your weight management. Our nutritional plan is designed completely around individual needs. Starting with a full evaluation of your current eating habits and metabolic type, we can decipher what kind of foods your body craves and how it runs most efficiently. Not just another "diet", our specialised optimum nutrition plan is designed to help change your eating habits for life, so you know exactly how to have a healthy and balanced approach towards eating to suit you.

With both this and the training in mind we will break down your current weight management goal into smaller, short term achievable goals that will show huge benefits in the long term.

Private and discrete facility

Client comfort and privacy is an important part of your success. That's why we choose to keep our facility out of the way in a discrete and private location, so you can feel relaxed and confident in our training environment.

Our facility is not open the general public as a "membership" gym of any kind and works only on a private, one to one appointment basis with client and trainer. Sharing the gym space with only one other client and their personal trainer you are sure to feel comfortable in our private, yet motivating environment.
